This is the latest name and new owner but there has been a café at this spot for years.
In all it's incarnations it's been a great spot in downtown Summerside for breakfast, lunch or just a coffee break.
On this day, we went for lobster rolls. If you are in Summerside and are looking for a lobster roll that's tasty and good value, this is your spot. for 8.95 + tax you get a toasted hot dog bun overflowing with tasty lobster (see the picture) with your choice of side. One of us had fries, the other potato salad. The potato salad was almost as good as mom's.
I've paid twice as much at a restaurant for a lobster roll that wasn't half as good and only had about half as much lobster.
If you're looking for a home style breakfast or lunch for a great price, this is your go to place. -

Humble decor, great food, amazing prices.
We were spending a couple of days in Summerside outside of the season and many of the tourist places were closed. This cafe seems to cater to the locals offering straightforward food at good prices.
Three of us had the big breakfast, the this had a lobster roll. All of which were well done.
